15. The media never bothers to explain the US system of document classification.

Documents are classified as Confidential, Secret, and Top Secret. I believe the three Clinton emails were all just Confidential.

There is a world of difference between three confidential emails on a private server and a former president stealing box after box of top secret documents. I was gnashing my teeth this morning when a news person on CNN commented in response to the Republican claim that as president, Trump had the right to declassify all these documents so no big deal. She agreed that Trump had that right but then never bothered to clarify that even had he declassified them, they still belonged to the National Archives and he had no legal right to take them to his home!

Even when they think they’re being fair, media just leaves out parts that would clarify an issue. During this same segment, the other commenter, who was in charge of Hilary’s email investigation, never bothered to explain the system of classification and that her emails were the lowest level while what Trump took was the highest level. There are sins of omission as well as sins of commission!
