I've always admired DU, despite being partisan, open to opposing views to a point. But as of late, it resembles message boards I used to visit praising the invasion of Iraq.

So...I'll get flamed for this, no surprise.

If Ukraine went West, that would have been the demise of Putin. You may be wracking your head about that, which only explains the lack of understanding of what is going on here. The fact he did act, insures his right to rule.

Granted this isn't what everyone wants to hear on DU, but it doesn't make me wrong. And you are free to disagree, but, I sadly think I will be proven right.
