Tom Brokaw relates this election to replacing Nixon in the Whitehouse [View all]

On the Today Show this morning, Tom Brokaw was talking about his views on the election.

He said he woke up with the words of Gerald Ford going through his head saying "My fellow Americans, our long national nightmare is over."

I'm sure that he will have defenders who claim that he was just referring to the craziness of the election process - I already heard that from some people - but I am not buying it. He was clearly referring to the current administration as "our long national nightmare" and that it will be over after the election.

Not even the slightest attempt to appear like a legitimate journalist.
