Around 3 dollars a gallon in much of the rest of the country but inching up to 7 bucks in California. Something's up.

Even with the Cali refinery requirements, that much differentiation in prices doesn't make sense. Before the huge supply shortage/inflation uptick, prices in California were never that much higher than the rest of the nation.
