That means he will have a lot of debt to work off. If I was a billion in debt, I would be broke....
After his personal property has been liquidated, the judge should only let him keep an income at the rate of minimum wage, with the rest of anything he made going to the families. He may end up having to sell that homestead to pay for a used mobile home, on the wrong side of the tracks.
If he was left with nothing, homeless, penniless and friendless, it still wouldn't pay for what the evil bastard did.
