If it works in OH, then that's what he should do. If he can connect to voters in his state (that is more right-leaning), that's all that matters. Biden or democrats aren't popular in every locale. I believe his campaign and he himself knows better than most of us.

As much as I disagree with Manchin and hate what he did, he gets to be a democratic senator from a deep red state. That means he is doing something right, even if what he does isn't always following democrats or democratic priorities.

So in this crucial time that we need to keep the senate (and hopefully the house), I leave it to the campaigns (as I assume they know better or at least should know better) of what their constituents want to hear. We can leave the criticism after they get into office rather than criticizing and undermining them before they get elected. Afterall, a democratic representative is about a thousand times more likely to hear from us than a republican one.
