17. For the most part It is not the same people who were on the left in the 60s

There was a huge divide in that (my) generation. The majority of the people in college were anti war, the majority of guys who didn't went to war. However, just as In recent times, you could not assume everyone antiwar was liberal. However, the young people saying not to trust anyone over 30 were mostly those in college and/or anti war.

The ones who became the MAGA people were more likely to not be college educated and in red rural areas. They were likely the most offended by the "hippy" youth image.
