34. Personally, I think we should own the word "woke"

even though I'm positive no lefty group purposely came up with it as a mantra.

Like some brilliant Youtubers found a way to own "Brandon" with "Dark Brandon"

It took long enough for our side to even own the word "liberal". Even though we know that most Americans issue by issue, also share liberal values.

So we are "woke" awake, aware of who is lying and who is not. So we are woke to the concept of a more peaceful society that comes with respecting minority rights in all arenas. So what?
