28. Except she didn't have to kill to escape

She stabbed a guy who was PASSED OUT ... 30 times.

When she could've just left.

That's the thing.

Had this happened mid-rape, as an act of self-defense, really good chance she'd have walked. But that's not what happened.

And the dead guy was basically a 'john', and her trafficker was someone she thought of as her boyfriend, who was putting her up, because she was a 15 yo runaway.

The two of them, it seems, were trying to make money to buy drugs and keep a roof over their heads, by means of her turning tricks.

Then she lost her shit one night because of the shittyness of her life and the people around her (including the client that she murdered, who allegedly gave her shots and weed, and raped her earlier).

Then she went straight home to the boyfriend she's alleged was trafficking her. No charges have been filed against this person, take that as you will.

I guess I can understand that rage, but at the same time ... the law doesn't allow for that kind of vigilante action.

5 years probation is not unreasonable in this situation, she really should've stayed where the court requires her to stay.
