(9,976 posts)Spending in OH or FL means money that is not spent in AZ or GA (or NC, as I have suggested). Furthermore, there has been a segment from our side that advocates AGAINST sending money to national Democratic organizations like the DNC.
If there is a "nonexistent" Democratic effort at the state and local level, that is more proof that the heavy lifting much first be done by the Democrats in those states before any serious resources should go to them to boost their efforts. Democrats in states like VA and now AZ and GA said the same things before, but you know what? Democrats in those states laid the foundation and then money began to come in to help bolster their efforts and turn them into winners.
Ohio Democrats and Florida Democrats need to look within and fix themselves instead of blaming their problems on others. Do that, and the money will come once again. But getting back to the original point, no, neither of those states are at a point where money will impact those races right now. They have lots bigger issues to address and throwing money at their problems will not fix them, it will only be less money we can throw at actual winnable races in other states.
I'm sorry, but that's just how it is.
