A failure to take a dominant position in the House frees up saner Rs to quit fearing the "base" and act like actual legislators.
Not saying it will happen for sure, but with the results showing that crazy isn't a big selling point & extremism less productive than advertised, it only takes a few defectors to derail the plans of their "leadership".
