(9,090 posts)since AI now allows for rw talk radio to be easily digitized and analyzed, including retroactively, that's in the plans. the MIT Media Lab project using AI to automatically record, transcribe, and analyze 2.8 Mil words of talk radio (non political) will be used as a prototype, etc.
the RW think tanks and the GOP will freak out and advertisers will start to abandon political talk radio unless the ad industry acts quickly to break up the rw radio monopoly. without that massive messaging advantage in 40+ states the country will go 10 points left, truth will play a bigger part in politics again, and dems will get supermajorities they should have had when doing something about global warming wasn't so urgent.
take the Ga senate election - why the fuck should it have been close? or the other 2022 elections for that matter. because rural voters are all fucking idiots? why does the GOP want to stop free internet infrastructure? it's their massive but invisible rw radio monopoly that makes the difference. in Ga dems let 3 universities support 14 ex limbaugh stations. without complaint. that's stupid.
in NC, where RW pushed the recent huge voting redistricting case to the supremes with the help of a shiltload of radio stations - dems ignore that North Carolina 8, North Carolina State 3, Duke 3, East Carolina 2 - support 16 ex limbaugh stations. it's dumb. apparently if that decision goes wrong students at those schools might be out of luck voting. it doesn't get stupider than that.
wait, there is something stupider. 87+ universities support 260+ radio stations by broadcasting football on them while they attack kneeling athletes call the stephanie griner deal a treasonous disgrace.
