Should Harry Reid take this opportunity to KILL the filibuster?

As in, can't be used as a threat, requires the actual work of NOT leaning, sitting or quitting until collapse. Having actually filibustered something once*, it is incredibly hard work that most people won't do. But no more threats. Kill that part dead.

Right now, it's the equivalent of an elder sibling hovering a finger about an inch from a younger sibling and saying "I'm not touching you!!"

*High school student council. At the time, we used the unabridged RRoO for procedure, and the council had the O So Brilliant idea that Prom should only be for couples (i.e. no single ticket sales, no group ticket sales, and no group pictures.) At the time, I thought it was important. Four hours of reading aloud while standing was hard for a motivated, healthy teenager. The procedures were soon after abridged, but we got group Prom.
