It used to be the self-defined conservatives who lamented the coarsening of public discourse, but now we see the true colors of these people and their institutions. There's apparently no limit to their vile words and behavior. The rest of us have been a little slow to catch on. The media didn't know what to do with Trump and his violent rhetoric. Good people were caught off guard.

Time for some righteous indignation and push back. It's not normal or healthy to talk that way or go along with it. Period.
