15. Nassau County is generally a tough read.

My experience is that we are more purple than anything else.

Both NY-3 and NY-4 were open seats this cycle, with two popular Democratic representatives retiring. That coupled with high Republican turnout for odious local boy Lee Zeldin (who was running for governor) and the influx of tens of millions in superpac cash set the stage for those seats flipping Republican.
