73. Dumb has multiple meanings.

People who aren't dumb know that.

She's not smart at all. She has a certain low cunning, but that != smart. Not in the least.

I keep making this comparison to get it through people's heads, but think of it this way: Monkeys are smart. Cats are smart. Dogs are smart. They have emotions and situational awareness and so on. They make calculated decisions based on what they have learned.

Sharks aren't smart. Sharks are, in fact, very fricking STUPID. They know eating and humping. Outside of that, they know nothing. They're like the bug-blatter beast of Traal in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Their entire thought process is always, HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY Bad-Tempered. HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY. Opposite sex smell--HORNY. HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY HUNGRY.

They have just enough low cunning to find prey, and then use brute strength to kill it. That's all they know. But you will never--ever--see a shark do what cats do of sneaking up on their prey for the best opportunity to attack; cats even know to get downwind from their prey, to increase the chances of making a clean kill. All of that not only improves the efficiency of their hunting, but also takes an advanced degree of premeditation and calculation--i.e., intelligence. Sharks don't do that. All they do is swim endlessly for any opportunity to feast. They don't sneak up on prey. They just bludgeon it to death when they come across potential prey. That's it.

Same thing with this twit--she has the kind of low cunning to recognize prey when she sees it, and then attack. But she knows nothing of strategy or tactics.
