different from what they are willing to do on day 10.

The longer they don't get their act together, the better the position of a few moderates to say stuff like, "We made the sacrifice for the good of the country" or some such.

When, of course, if they ever defected, they would do it because we gave them a boondoggle bridge for their district or something.
