(5,046 posts)23. This is what I thought when I first heard of this proposed ban.
Some things can't be cooked except on an open flame.
People should just be given a warning about the likelihood of adverse effects, and then let them decide. A ban resulting from 13% incidents seems like overcompensating.

If this was done, I'm 98% sure it would only be a ban on putting them in newly-built homes

Doubt they'd be banned because of how the gas is vacated from a home through the flu

I'm guessing Rep. Greene wrote her slam by LED rather than CFL bulbs or candlelight.
