It's been a deliberate, unwavering repetitive pounding and they're finally breaking down the walls that have been protecting us.
Too bad so many of us, especially those with the power to protect us, don't seem to have been as focused.
None of this happened overnight. The history of the subjugation of women and the wielding of the weapon of misogyny has marked millennia.
I'm beginning to believe that the hope for bodily autonomy and for a world where women (and children) are treated with dignity and respect is a fantasy.
