(12,634 posts)7. I've never taken one yet, so I doubt I'd
start now. Ive never had the flu, either, even in the 1957 pandemic when I was in crowded situations every day. I did take the Covid shots and 1 booster.

The point of cancer screening is to catch cancer early enough that chemo isn't needed.

I sort of understand his thinking, but IMO 75 seems an arbitrary and too-young age.

My father died 3 months ago at age 74 from Covid. My grandmother died at 95 just before the pandemic
