In reply to the discussion: Trump: I Was Right to Trust Putin Over US Intelligence Officials [View all]Botany
(77,671 posts)My take was Oleg Deripaska was paying McConigal which he wouldn't have been doing w/out
Vlad's OK as McConigal was in charge of investigating Russia interfering with the US elections.
I pretty sure that Durham knew that McConigal and part of the NYC FBI's Field Office were "Russian
dirty" and both Durham & Barr have kept that information quite. I would not be surprised if
Durham was "Russian dirty" too. Trump just admitted this AM that Russia did help his campaign
in 2016 but that help did not put him into the White House.
McConigal did get the NYC FBI office to push the Hillary email story late in the 2016 campaign
and got the NY Times to put on their front page "FBI says no evidence of Russian interference
in our elections." And as he brought that off he was being paid off by Deripaska/Vlad.
Yes Trump, his family, and his businesses have been laundering Russian money for years.
However the one thing that Durham was successful @ is that he kept Putin's Alfa Bank Computer connections
to a computer server in Lititiz, PA that was part of the Trump campaign's IT network out of the media. Alfa Bank's
computer had >2,700 link ups to TFG and another 200 to 300 links with Betsy DeVoss' computer server in Michigan
and that brings DeVoss' brother Erik Prince into play. Barr, Muller, Roger Stone, most likely Rudy, and along with
the NY Times were well aware of Alfa Bank's links to Vlad and Trump at different times.
As Speaker Pelosi said to Trump's face, "All roads lead to (Russian President Vladimir) Putin."
