I dont know about you, but I've never considered the absurdity of this holiday or questioned its origins. Because let's be honest: Can a groundhog predict the weather? Groundhogs are the same as woodchucks, and there is such a thing as ground chuck.

Indeed. They call it Mid-Winter Break, but it's conveniently timed right around Groundhog Day.
