Maybe, but the flagrant Republican gerrymandering in Ohio, Florida, and Texas, as well as the court stopping the attempt by Democrats in NY to counter the gerrymandering with their own really made the battle an uphill fight for Democrats. As usual the Republicans have enough money and power to fight on every front, while Democrats have to prioritize.
