54. Dang, I caught a chest cold and took OTC cold & cough suppressants and that triggered my AFIB.

I got out of the hospital last Thursday. Meds would not correct it until I had a ⚡️cardioversion ⚡️.

Now my heart is beating like I was in my 20s.

After a series of tests, they could nothing wrong with my heart and are at a loss for why it happened.
It turns out that some of the ingredients in the day & night suppressants can trip AFIB. So a word of
warning, only take stuff that is the HB or heart safe stuff. I was taking a famous brand starting with M
every four hours. On Saturday & Sunday nights I switched to the might version. Monday at 4AM I awoke
from my sleep, skipping a few beats and in AFIB.


I wish you well and hopefully they can get a handle on it. It sounds like they know what is needed.

I'm sending positive vibes to you as I now know how scary this is.
