I liked his introductory recognition of McCarthy. "At the risk if hurting your reputation, I look forward to working with you."

I knew we were in for a good showing after that. Not that I ever doubted Joe's ability to deliver. But he hit it out of the ballpark tonight. Strong, confident, informative, funny, inclusive. Hit all the right notes.
