But I just don't get this 'old people are crazy Republicans'.

Me, I was a Republican as a young woman. Even ran for local office once. Didn't win.

So, the older I get, the further left I get. I have voted for Democrats only since the late 1980's. Now I will turn 69 next month, and I would call myself a socialist.

If the government is not helping the people, what is the point of having a government? We spend so much money on the military, and I can't remember single time in my life when I saw our military actually used to protect America.
