74. If a woman is called a vulgar term for her genitals,

There is massive outrage.

The same thing does NOT happen if a man if referred to by a vulgar slang term for his genitals.

I see plenty of women saying things like “He must be compensating for small genitalia” or variations of that. Especially when referring to gun owners, or owners of large trucks, or a large something.

Imagine if a man said “She must be compensating for having small breasts”, or “She must be compensating for having poor quality genitalia.”

It is perfectly acceptable on DU to call a man fat, or flabby. Imagine if the same thing was said about a woman.

When men complain about misandry, we’re told there is no such thing.

When men complain about women hating men, we’re told that doesn’t happen. Yet men are told all the time that men hate women.

When men complain about discrimination, we’re told we can’t be discriminated against because we’re a member of the oppressor class. As if a poor working class man could still be the oppressor, while a college educated women is still the victim.

When men complain about some woman who has written an article where she fantasizes about killing lots of men, we’re told its satire and we should “lighten up”.

Or we’re given speech after speech about “The Patriarchy”, and how if we’re not part of the solution, we’re part of the problem. And how ALL hetero men are equally guilty if we don’t “do something”.

It’s even inferred that all men are either rapists or potential rapists.

I’m sick and tired of men being called names, and being told to “lighten up” when we complain.

Men get bashed regularly here on DU. I’d say it’s even a sport with some.
