Ask Lilly Ledbetter about that...
I prefer to base my opinions on empirical studies: http://www.democraticunderground.com/11144984
No persistent industry-wide discrimination has been found against women in the workplace. Individual cases? Sure. But then there are cases where men are discriminated against.
You ever see female priests in the Roman Catholic Church? I haven't, and in fact, nobody has, because it's not allowed. Pope Maladict still decrees that the priesthood be a boys-only club.
So? What bearing does this have on non-members? You can choose to go and subject yourself to their arbitrary rules. Or not. They aren't running the country are they?
And how voluntary is going to a religious organization when you've been raised going to it since you were a baby, you were steeped in the culture, and their memes (including misogynistic memes) affect how you and everyone around were socialized? Sure you can leave, as long as you don't mind losing friends, family, much of your social life... Some people can do that (I have), many can't.
100% voluntary.
This isn't a theocracy.
Are you really this obtuse? Crawl out of your man-cave and look around you. Gender bias is pervasive.
Some things are so obvious that it's impossible to cite even one example.
Are women currently denied the right to vote? To a fair trial? To choose their own religion? To express themselves politically? To run for office? To posses arms for self-defense?
What specific rights are women currently denied in the US?
As for my personal specifics? Only raised in a religion where the canon holds men to be superior to women; went to schools where boys were steered to math, science, engineering, business, while girls were steered to home-ec; I got respected more in college earning my degrees and on the job working as a software engineer than women earning the same degrees and working the same jobs; I don't have right-wing religious fanatics in government telling me what I can and can't do with my testicles. etc. etc. etc.
Sorry about your personal upbringing. But we're talking about politics/rights/etc.
Currently we spend money to steer girls towards STEM courses and to do better in math and science.
There is no money being spent to cover the deficit boys face in language courses. Also girls have a significantly higher graduation rate than boys and are now going to college at a rate of 3:2.
Clearly boys are the ones being overly privileged there.
There are scholarships for women only. Are there comparable scholarships for men only?
And religious fanatics tell men what they can and can't do with their genitals all the time. Save it for marriage applies to both. Also they aren't so keen on homosexual men doing what they please with their genitals are they?
Take any other group. Any one you please other than men. This hypothetical group represents 95% of the prison population. About 95% of workplace fatalities. The majority of the homeless population. Members kill themselves at a rate 4 times that of non-members. They are the first ones to be pushed in to dangerous jobs or deemed disposable enough for foreign wars. For the same crimes they suffer disproportionately harsh sentences. Despite living shorter lives they have less money dedicated to their health care than non-members. They make up the vast majority of highschool dropouts, discipline cases, and the like. Despite attending college at far lower rates than their population would imply there are scholarships available only to non-members. Despite suffering many unique issues that are largely unaddressed any attempt to correct these issues is seen as unfair to non-members (despite non-members already absorbing vastly more funds to address their issues).
This is a privileged group?

Very well spoken. There needs to be equality on all sides and in all respects. nt

That's all you have? Clearly defined empirical evidence that supports your claim perfectly?

Meh, speaking as a man and a general member of the Privileged Bastards Club, I can suck it up.

Out of curiosity, how do you feel you are privileged by your gender?
