(4,044 posts)Gotta say, I didn't enjoy it all. I was expecting comedy and fashion, but the show was nothing but rigorous erotic dancing.
It wasn't sweet. It wasn't funny. It was not striptease, but was a kind of very physical, often gymnastic dancing, while people put dollars in the performers' skin-tight and glittery outfits.
Other people said they enjoyed the show. But no one seems to want to go back.
I have to say, I would not have enjoyed this show if it consisted of actual women, either.
So, if my experience is any indication of what a drag show is, it is very different than the scenes from the comedic movies and TV shown above. The only one acting seductively is Bugs Bunny!
There are a number of Bugs Bunny eps when he wears drag. My favorite Bugs episode of all time is "The Rabbit of Seville."
Elmer Fudd is singing that he wants to "eat a rabbit." So Bugs puts on drag, and dances while singing "What do you want with a rabbit? Can't you see that I'm much sweeter? I'm your little senorita."
