was intended to conceal another crime, e.g., campaign finance violations, tax fraud, etc. They will try to show that the reason for the falsification of business records (recording the hush money as a business expense) was to conceal the fact that the purpose of the hush money payment just before the election was to benefit TFG's campaign. Bragg is going after the felony.
