As the UK shooting President Clinton signed into law the Brady Bill. That law outlawed military style assault weapons, such as the AR-15, and high capacity magazines.

George W. BUSH allowed the Brady Bill to expire 10 years later. Back came the AR-15 and high capacity magazines. And the rest is history.
