38. Of course it's ridiculous, un-Constitutional, grotesque, and obscene

that three nine year old children and three adults have joined the ever expanding list of American citizens who have been deprived of their lives all because of an amendment that never foresaw killing machines being used against them. But the OP's proposed solution is absurd and completely untenable. We need ideas that could actually work if we had the political will to use them, which right now we (meaning our feckless representatives in Congress) do not.
