How many televangelicals have been caught committing adultery? Even when they're caught, they're able to come back from it and attract followers yet again--usually the same ones they had before.

I witnessed a televangelical do it three times--three sex scandals, new churches after each one, with plenty of gullible fools to go with them. I was betting he'd do it a fourth time, but he died before he could get caught at it.

And it's not just the evangelicals being naughty. Mainstream ministers, priests and even popes have had scandalous sex lives, too. Lucrezia Borgia's father was Pope Alexander VI. Her mother was known as the main, but not the only, squeeze of Alexander, as in, he often had multiple mistresses at once.

Given that history, why expect christians to have a problem now with any of their chosen leaders being adulterers? The evidence indicates that they've rarely had a problem with it.
