Electors cannot vote for a Presidential and Vice Presidential candidate who both hail from an elector’s home state.


Meaning while they both can run from the same state, Florida electors cannot give them their votes, meaning Republicans would lose Florida's 29 Electoral votes if DeSantis and Trump are on the same ticket.
