Serena Joy, Offred's Commander's Wife, was one of the leading voices in the drive to turn the US into Gilead.

And...then she found out the restrictions levied on women in Gilead applied to her too, and she got really depressed about it all.

What these guys do not realize is that private gun ownership is absolutely incompatible with the society they claim to want.
