(9,019 posts)29. It would seem to me that to be a person, you'd have to have a personality.
And that means going through experiences that form a personality. None of this can happen in the womb, where the various systems needed to support a living baby haven't developed yet.
That's why it takes 9 months to produce a baby. Gotta be ready for the world of experiences the baby will encounter.
And, the most important part. When the baby takes it's first independent breath, the Angel that will assume ownership of the baby breathes a soul into it, and the baby becomes a human child.
That's when I believe the process of developing a personality begins.

A fetus CAN'T BE A PERSON at six weeks because the gender can't be indentified until 19 or 20 weeks!
