I was going down an aisle which had a lot of wooden things they put food in to take out and put on the shelves in front of the items for sale. First there was a woman, and I was trying to get out of her way as we were going into the aisle, and said Im sorry, and tried to stay out of her way. Then as I made my way down the aisle she weaved in and out in front of me. At least 4 times which is rude.
I should make it clear here that I didnt do anything wrong or get in her way, she was moving very quickly as I was entering the aisle, and I have a tendency to try to get out of people's way etc.
As we got towards the middle or end of the aisle, I heard a man behind her complaining about how people leave their shopping carts in the aisle etc., she said she never does. It didnt occur to me until later that he was trying to imply that I was doing something terrible by simply being there, and looking at items etc.
As we got to the end of the aisle there was a big traffic jam. I was trying to look at an item that I usually buy to see if it was on sale
there were several people in the aisle opposite, and a man wheeling one of those humongous cleanup carts
also a woman on a motorized chair cart, and theres nowhere to go so, I moved over to the right in front of the things I wanted to look at, and then the man behind me starts telling me what are you doing, nobody was moving, they were just all standing there.
So I said why dont you just go past me, its obvious what Im doing, Im trying to get out of everybodys way. I cant remember exactly what he said but it was something to the effect of like you caused the problem here, because blah blah blah, and I said to him I didnt cause the problem, you did because youre rude, and why dont you calm down.
At that point he went past me, and I moved forward, the woman was nowhere to be seen, and I couldnt see him anymore.
When something like that happens to me I usually turn my cart around and I go back down the aisle instead of trying to go towards or into a big traffic jam but I couldnt do that because they were right behind me. Im also recovering from a spinal fracture, and its hard for me to move around the same way I normally do.
Anyway the whole thing was very upsetting, and I told the management what happened but they didnt seem to care because it was a customer doing that.
The other time it happened I was waiting at the glasses counter, and the man helping everybody didnt see me, and went to help someone else after the person in front of me
and I said I was here before that person.
Well he, the person immediately started a verbal assault on me saying I was a liar etc. I dont even remember now what he said but he was much more abusive. I told him off too, and then I went and told the management that I felt threatened by him. They paid more attention but did nothing.
This time I had some Hebrew National hotdogs in my cart so I can assume a few things about this man, one hes a fascist, two hes prolly a dumper, and three he is an antisemite most likely.
I should have told him who made you the arbiter of who is supposed to go first in a traffic jam while youre shopping.
* In addition
I told the Costco cs they created the environment for this to happen because theyre stacking up lots of items to unload in front of items people are trying to look at/ buy during the rush-hour. They shouldnt be doing that
