4. Democracy relies upon cooperation, freedom, and resource abundance

Those windows are closing. We are in danger of entering a period most like The Thirty Years' War where tens of millions were killed and just as many fled Europe. For some reason we don't seem to realize that time period. At the time our early settlers were just off the Mayflower, and France and Spain were exploring north America, this war was raging in Europe. Most of our German settlers came to north America at that time as they escaped a war mostly fought on central European German soil.

We need to save our rule of law, shutdown enemy combatant media, cleanse our judiciary, and remove money from politics. Our only tool is to ensure Democrats keep winning elections. And 2024 looks bleak to me in the Senate and the House. Many states have been taken over by fascist legislatures. Red state - blue state will endure for a long time, probably well into the 2050s.
