were the two I was specifically referencing by the word "localized." Throat cancer through HPV from oral sex, and Cervical cancer through HPV from vaginal sex)

Most of the additional references fall into either localized or ongoing illness/detectable viral load.

COVID, so far, is not localized - and once it is gone you no longer test positive for it.

As to shingles, there is a 15% increased risk of getting shingles in the 6 months following COVID. And - the chicken pox vaccine is a live vaccine so it remains in the body and can cause shingles. It is less likely to than having a chicken pox infection, but shingles will not disappear simply because of the chicken pox vaccine.
