Trump is a walking, breathing crime scene. Do you think getting kompromat on Trump is beneath the GOP - after Trump used it on folks like Lindsay Graham? A bunch of them could rat him out as an insurrectionist and President DeSantis will give them a pardon. There's no limit to their scheming when power is involved. Otherwise, it will cost the GOP oligarchs billion$ in taxes.

The GOP have become one of the most corrupt political entities on the face of this earth. Nothing is beneath them. They're playing possum with Trump hoping the Dems or DoJ will do their dirty work to make salvaging his base easy. If the Dems or DoJ are falling short, the GOP will nudge it along behind the scenes once Biden is locked in for 2024.
