49. Um, that's how the Chinese economy is set up. There's nothing temporary about it.

Think of everyone as employees, retired employees, or other beneficiaries of China Inc., if you must.

All economic activity is ultimately directed and supervised by the Chinese Communist Party.

Their economy incorporates some elements of capitalism, but it's not a capitalist nation.

"Western" economies are capitalist nations incorporating some elements of socialism.

Purely capitalist or purely communist economies are simply not practical.
