In reply to the discussion: Inside the Meltdown at CNN (after the ill-advised Trump Town Hall) [View all]W_HAMILTON

This is not about you versus Chris, Dornic continued. I think his perspective is: Under a normal administration, those would have been 11s. But you had to recalibrate, because if you make the outrageous thing about women an 11, then what happens when he actually does something completely insane and undermines democracy?

Per the article, Dornic is a CNN senior VP of communications and one of Licht's close "entourage." Here, he is essentially defending Licht's approach to covering Trump, which basically entails accepting from Trump what they would deem unacceptable from any other candidate or administration.
Once again, just confirming what many of us had already suspected.
And to answer this dipshit's question, if Trump does that, you make it a fucking 20 or 30 or 40. The answer isn't to accept the unacceptable while acting like a candidate using a personal email for government business -- WHICH EVERY FUCKING PERSON IN GOVERNMENT HAS DONE AT SOME POINT -- is one of the biggest scandals of all time. Now, obviously this happened before Licht's tenure there, but you can apply it to how this new CNN approaches any of the Biden administration's minor slip-ups that they try to make into something bigger because they don't grade Biden on a curve like THEY HAVE NOW ADMITTED THEY DO WITH TRUMP.

It's predictable that CNN will continue to go off the rails because of Licht and Malone.

I don't have a problem with CNN hosting Town Halls for candidates, even tfg.
