I had them around 1992. While Clinton was president we had great jobs. Great income. Bought a lively house. Saving the most into my 401K.
Then 2009 hit. George Ws housing and bank bailouts. Lost my job. Almost lost the house. Lost 75% of retirement. Paying $2000/mth for Cobra insurance with $2000 deductible. Needed two hips replaced. Had to refinance the house. No real profit when we sold it.
We call those years before W my good old days.
We did not move to Costa Rica because of politics but its been paradise compared to US. Especially during COVID.
