16. I do not believe that everyone who voted for Trump last time will do so next time.

Those who are closer to the center than the far left may have had enough Trump drama for one lifetime. It is unlikely that former Biden voters would swap to Trump in the next election. In fact, many Biden voters were not so much for Biden as against Trump and those folks will not be swapping. I don't think that Trump is a real danger to a second Biden term, but some other Republican may be. I do not think that that would be either DeSantis or Pence.

Trump will be carrying the stench of indictment that will impress some people. Of course, we know that his cult will not be put off by the smell of rot and corruption, but I just don't believe that there are enough of them to send him back to Washington.

Trump sits on the horns of a dilemma today. Does he push for a speedy trial in Miami with the hopes of acquittal, which would help his candidacy a great deal, or does he try to drag out the process until after the election? Personally, I am not at all confident of a Miami jury to convict Trump, regardless of the evidence. He may see it the same way. Having lived in Miami, it is my personal opinion that you could not randomly pick a jury without having at least one Trump thumper on the panel.
