(41,098 posts)9. They're an obscene blight on our arid landscape, sucking precious water from our aquifers
so a few mostly rich folks can recreate. Shut them down in drought ridden areas & build a couple of putt putt courses. I think putt putt is so much more fun than golf & you can play at night.

Golf courses are also a blight on our green landscape - they require tons of fertilizer
