5. I believe remote work is contributing to "decreased productivity"...

In terms of how American corporate views productivity... In actuality, we are starting to line up more with European countries and I suspect many americans who work remote will enjoy greater quality of life...

Example: I'm seeing remote parents taking care of their young children, being in the presence of their children while also working. I don't think many could argue this is a far better option than sending your kid off to expensive daycare 40+ hours a week.

Unless everyone unifies against remote work, I don't think companies have much option other than to complain about it.
