19. tRump is the epitome of "nouveau riche": the trashiest elements of new money

Old money uses gold sparingly and effectively in decoration.

Smart money is more interested in function and design.

New money is gobsmacked and doesn't know what to do with itself, so it goes for gaudy, flamboyant, over-the-top display of wealth. If he were in the 1980s he'd party at Studio 54, have 3 wives, and build a penthouse apartment dripping in gold and gilt. Oh wait, he did that.

tRump puts the rash in trash.
