5. And I wonder how well those federal tax dollars are spent?

How many projects like the one Brett Favre was involved in are funded using blue state tax dollars? What percent of money allocated to help their residents gets siphoned off to the well-connected in these states?

It seems to me there should be better accounting and a better process for how outcomes are measured. After all, red states complain all the time that spending money on the poor is wasteful - but if Favre can get millions to build a volleyball arena, how much other money is spent lining their pockets?
