In reply to the discussion: Why They Fear Adam Schiff [View all]lostnfound
(17,447 posts)12. One of many problems with the structure of federal government
Two senators per state is bad because of
1) humans in Iowa amd North Dakota and Wyoming have wayyyy more representation in the senate than humans in California or New York
2) humans in California and New York hardly count at all toward presidential elections
And, just added:
3) a plethora of awesome candidates are vying for the same career milestone in California while a below-room temperature IQ can get a guy elected in many of the low-population states.
Katie Porter OR Adam Schiff??I'm glad I dont have to choose because I dont live there. They both belong in the Senate. (No offense to the 3rd one, havent followed it closely and dont know him/her.)
