Except to accept people for who they are, all deserving of Rights, and respect them for how they choose to refer to themselves.
The Right however, does has an anti-Gay and anti-Trans agenda. And part of that is to portray Liberals as promoting being Gay or Trans to children, instead of what they do, which is to accept diversity.
On the one hand, you have people being open to all others. On the other hand, you have a Party cynically using hate to paint the other Party with insulting lies and attack vulnerable children and adults.
I don't expect to ever see this in the Media as it really is, instead I expect the Media to keep repeated the GOP narrative representing the Dems as somehow having this nonexisting "Gay agenda".
